And so it came to pass–I moved to foreign shores. I read lots of hentai manga and I mostly stayed indoors. For to a life of smut and filth I’ll always stay devout…
And when you’re a hentai translator, that’s what the job’s about.
But I’m not the only one who felt the subtle siren’s call of loli-colization. Over on DLsite, the translators are gathering to spread Japanese depravity to the masses. Through the Translators Unite service, anyone with a good handling of Japanese and English can translate doujin manga and earn a share of the profits when they go on sale. Let’s take a look at some of the recent offerings, shall we?
A slightly misleading title for this one, as while the male protagonist is older than the “gal”, he’s only meant to be middle-aged, and his design makes him look about 20. I guess it’s aimed at guys who like the idea of being with a younger woman but don’t want to look at old man peen. There’s some really nice full-color art in the manga, which is split into short vignettes, kind of like sexy comedy sketches, and the text has been formatted real nice in the translation to boot!
Married women are a rich font of doujin inspiration, probably because of the enduring image of the lonely housewife, left bored and horny by her overworking salaryman husband. In this manga, one of her virile male neighbors helps her out by giving her what she’s been craving…though he will make her debase herself by begging for what she wants. This one is a massive 80% off until April 4th, so grab this housewife while she’s cheap!
While a lot of what happens in doujin manga belongs to the realm of fantasy, I once saw a couple of uniformed JKs lezzing out (bless them!) on a riverside bench, and since then the sense of the freedom of youthful love evoked by yuri stories has always held a special place in my heart. The art here is pretty stylized, so if you prefer what passes for traditional manga beauty standards the this may not be your thing, but if like me you’re happy to get swept away by the romance/torrent of high school girl juice, then definitely pick this one up.
On the subject of stylized art, we have this, BLOOM ROUND.4, the–yes, you guessed it–fourth chapter in a serialized manga about a big-breasted underground wrestler called Misaki. The drawing style is what I would call JoJo-adjacent, with every little contour and crease of muscle and flesh being painstakingly etched across every inch of the characters’ bodies. I personally find it a bit grotesque, but I try not to let my personal opinions stand in the way of my work. This is a judgment-free zone, and if bulging muscles and giant flabby tits are your bag, there is plenty of bag to be had here!
It wouldn’t be a manga feature without a bit of incest now, would it? Though this is a big sister/younger stepbrother work, so it’s what I like to call incest-lite. Still questionable, but without the concern about birthing inbred children. The sister in this story is forced to mollify her creepily silent and possibly developmentally-challenged step-sibling by engaging in an array of deeply inappropriate behaviors, including sex toy insertion, handjobs and, well…you can probably guess where things are headed. If you’ve always dreamed of having a big sister who would do anything for you, then this might be just the ticket.
