Judging by the fact that I’m wearing trousers and not sweating my ass off, it looks like I survived another looong Japanese summer and we’ve made it to autumn. Go team! Well, before we devote ourselves to coming up with fun, spoop-tastic article ideas in anticipation of Halloween, let’s take a moment to look back at the best new doujin to come out in the last month or so. We have a lot of subtitled ASMR audio in the list this month, so have your best headphones at the ready!
Looking for roommates online is always a potential minefield. No matter how good someone looks on paper, you can never be sure of their habits re: cleaning, personal hygiene and world domination. I mention this last one because in Kaiju Princess, the girl you bring into your home turns out to be the leader of an invasion force intent on conquering Earth. But on the upside, she will pay rent in the form of sexual favors. So you take the rough with the smooth. Help her meet her destruction quotas while trying to minimize casualties so she doesn’t get replaced by someone less open to negotiation (or hunted down by the government). A fun twist on the life-with-a-cute-girl sim format.
So imagine a world where monster girls exist. Next, imagine that they have trouble conceiving children. Then imagine that you happen to be one of those rare human males who can impregnate monster girls, and all of the local monster girls have gotten wind of this. Done that? Great. Welcome to the world of Beware of Monster Girls. Oh, and there’s also a girl who seeks to prevent the spread of monster kind by sealing your dick with sexy magic. Yeah, it’s pretty wild. Expect a lot of licking (or ask for your money back).
Aoharu Fetishism, a doujin circle renowned for its high-production-value audio works presents a brand new scenario (which may well become its own series) in the form of Romantic Pussy Syndrome. They take the yandere trope – a girl who is completely obsessed with you to a dangerous degree – and soften it up a bit to make a story about a classmate who’s into you but too shy to confess her love. Thus she succumbs to “succubus syndrome” – a condition that turns demure young beauties into sex-crazed demons (well, not demons exactly, but they do get red eyes, wings and a tail). Interestingly, the heroine is portrayed by voice actress Haru Amachi, who also plays the succubus character in Beware of Monster Girls, so maybe that’s her niche. Enjoy the story of Iroha being unable to control herself in your presence, leading to lots of sexy situations on school grounds. Let’s just hope the syndrome doesn’t also suck your life force out like succubi usually do.
At number 7 is Knight Princess Eris in the Ruined Country. What it lacks in translation quality it makes up for in…gameplay mechanics. It’s got side-scrolling, it’s got a scantily clad woman with a big sword who gets even more scantily clad the more damage she takes, and it’s got animated sex acts. So what if it’s not got a highly-polished English translation by native speakers? That just makes it all the more meme-able! And memes will one day be a universal language!
At number 6 is another Aoharu Fetishism audio work, this time from their Blue Adolescence series. Did you have sex when you were in high school? If so, hey – good for you. If you were anything like me, however – socially awkward and more into anime and video games than real-life people – and spent your high school years without wetting your meat whistle, then you can relive them in this series all about getting it on with your classmates. The first three works in the series feature you hooking up with Riko (the airheaded slut) and Aoi (the smarter, less obvious slut) before they both realize you’re playing both sides and you all get it on together. This “After” story wraps the whole thing up as your three-way fun continues, and culminates in you choosing one of the two as your future bride. But if you’re not ready to be tied down like that I guess you can just skip the last track.
Inexplicably making it into the top ten on a website called Hentai Playground is an all ages audio product that’s the latest in the “Commander Pampering Team” series based on the Azur Lane franchise. Apparently taking as its inspiration one of Philip K. Dick’s lesser-known short stories, Does Onii-chan Dream of Pampering Unicorn is all about getting pampered by the titular warship. According to the Azur Lane wiki, when Unicorn, quote, “launches an airstrike”, she, “heals your entire Vanguard for 3.5% (8%) of its max HP.” I’m not sure it’s a good idea letting someone capable of launching an airstrike into my bedroom, but my Vanguard should could use some healing, if you know what I mean.
Considering the sheer number of doujin games and manga about little sisters, you would think there must be a severe little sister shortage in Japan. Well, if you too are feeling the absence of a little sister you can do deeply inappropriate things with, you can indulge your fantasies with this English translation of My Little Sister Came to My Home. After your sister moves into your unrealistically large (for Japan) home, it’s your chance to deepen your relationship to the point she’ll do naughty shit for you. If there’s anything we’ve learned from the Fast and the Furious franchise (aside from that movie-going audiences have an insatiable appetite for shite) it’s the importance of family, and this game is all about loving your family. That’s how I rationalize it to myself, anyway.
It wouldn’t be a doujin top ten list without a generic RPG Maker RPG, would it? And dieselmine are masters of the generic RPG. What I will say about dieselmine, though, is what they lack in original concepts and, you know, gameplay and whatnot, they do make up for in their CG artwork. Take the title image for Knightess Leticia here. I like it a lot – it’s sort of reminiscent of the kind of thing you’d see on the cover of a John Norman novel – the ones with a Gorean slave girl chained to a rock on some alien world. There are plenty of degrading sex scenes to enjoy here if you can grit your teeth through the tedious gameplay.
Weird coincidence, but “The Lord of Isekai Brothels” is what all my friends call me*. But this isn’t supposed to be about me. Here we have a game about building a successful brothel business in a parallel world by convincing the “head prostitute” of each brothel to join your team through sexual persuasion. There’s a nice variety of races to play around with – succubi, onis, fox girls, slimes and…cows, for some reason? No fauns, but at least there’s no judgmental Jesus lion.
*I should clarify that it’s actually because of how much I use them, not because I run any. It all started after I inherited this big old wardrobe from my snooty English uncle, and it fell on me when the movers were hauling it upstairs the doors swung open just before it hit me, and instead of hitting the back board passed straight through and I ended up in the magical (but oppressively Christian allegorical) land of Narnia. After fucking the White Witch a few times I convinced her to open a chain of brothels to piss off that sanctimonious lion asshole, and in place of a consulting fee I secured a long-term discount giving me easy access to every piece of nymph, faun, dufflepud, centaur and dwarf tail on offer. Don’t even get me started on what I got up to during Crisis on Infinite Earths…
And the number one pick of the doujin this month is the straight-forwardly titled The Village Targeted By Barbarians. If you like NTR, and like being on the cucked side of that particular spectrum, then boy, is this the game for you! Your village is getting regularly attacked by barbarians, and it’s up to you to defend it or face seeing the villagers – including your childhood friends – get raped before your eyes. They might even end up being forced into prostitution (where you can pay for sex with them yourself). Will you put up a fight and protect the village, or will you live with the consequences of letting the barbarians in? It’s quite a twisted little scenario with lots of potential where it comes to exploring your psychological kinks. Give it a go, why not?
I hope you enjoyed this rundown of October’s popular doujin. I’ll be back with another one of those numbered lists you love so much next month, but in the meantime be sure to follow us on Twitter and check out DLsite’s Discord if you like shooting the breeze about all things hentai. Later!
